Paula Tatyane Cardozo Stemberg é mestra em Direito pela Universidade Federal do Paraná (UFPR), no qual desenvolveu sua dissertação de mestrado intitulada “IPTU em Discurso“. Foi bolsista do Programa de Excelência da CAPES (CAPES/PROEX – 2019/2021). Suas áreas de interesse incluem direito como linguagem, direito comparado, tributação e desigualdade, tributação e gênero, e economia política e direito. Membro do Núcleo de Pesquisa de Direito Tributário e Empresarial (NPDTE) e do Núcleo de Estudos em Direito Administrativo, Urbanístico, Ambiental e Desenvolvimento (PRO POLIS / CCons) da Universidade Federal do Paraná (UFPR / PPGD / CNPq), do Grupo de Pesquisa Tributação, Complexidade e Desenvolvimento da Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná (TAXPUC-PR/PPGD/CNPq) e do Grupo de estudos Tributação e Gênero (FGV/SP – TeA/PGFN). Membro da World Complexity Science Academy (WCSA). É membro julgador do Conselho Municipal de Contribuintes da Prefeitura Municipal de Curitiba; coordenadora da Tax Clinic ISSO Ottawa; advogada (OAB/PR nº 83.298); professora universitária e pesquisadora.

She is a member of judgement at the Board of Tax Administrative Appels of the City Hall of Curitiba; a coordinator of the Tax Clinic – ISSO Ottawa; a tax attorney at law in Brazil (Bar Association inscription nº 83.298); an adjunct professor and researcher.
